PRIVACY AND DATA-PROTECTION COMPLIANCE IN THE EUROPEAN UNION
The European Union (EU) implemented the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) which provides for stronger data protection rules that affirm and strengthen the privacy rights of EU citizens on May 25, 2018. These rules extend to all entities based outside the EU, including us. Since we also operate in the EU and we are in the Transparency Registry with the European Commission, our policy on privacy and data protection of all information is completely compliant as mandated by the European Council. While this compliance is only mandated in the EU and exceeds other privacy and transparency laws in many countries, our stringent privacy and data-protection policy will also apply to all non-EU citizens around the world for simplicity and uniformity. For more information on what we are expected to do, please click here.
Our registration forms require users to give us contact information that may include name, email address, format preference (HTML vs. Text), address, interests, and similar information. Once you provide your personal information, you are not anonymous to us.

ABOUT THE CONTRIBUTIONS WE GET
Tusk Task Force has never accepted and will never accept any amount of donation from any corporation or government. Every resource we use is a credit to the generous support of people and individuals—like you—from all parts of the world. This keeps us ethical, independent, and conflict-free from any questionable or negative influence that may diminish our mission, passion, vision, and values. We are tremendously grateful to all individuals who join us, through their investments, to #RaiseTheShieldForWildlife.
We also use very minimal resources and funds towards any marketing purpose. We would much rather use our limited resources and coin to fund our programs and affiliates to directly make an impact on our mission and vision. Together we are #UnitedForWildlife #SoThatWildlifeMayLive.
On behalf of the wildlife that we protect and the wildlife park rangers risking their lives to defend them, we are grateful for your unselfish contribution. If you are a donor, please know that every dollar you give to us are all accounted for. If you did not receive a receipt after your online donation transaction, please contact us and we will provide one for you. We may also provide receipts of our institutional contributions to our partners, if requested.
what happens when you give us your donation
Unless you tell us otherwise, the contributions you give us will be applied to off-set costs in executing all of our programs—advocacy, research, and protection—that will benefit the wildlife and wildlife park rangers who defend them in our target countries located in Africa and Asia. Rest assured, no one pockets anything. Not even paper clips.
